Roles

• Cost effective procurement of material.
• Preparation of commercial costing / negotiations.
• For overall supervision Purchase.
• Inventory level of critical items in stores.
• MRM/MIS presentation
• Pursuing excellence in all areas of operation using PDCA approach.
• Team building and inculcating positive approach.

Responsibilities

• To ensure indents for making PO after taking quote from vendors after negotiations.
• Developing supplier & rate negotiation with vendors after doing the feasibility study.
• Timely procurements of indented material against approved budget.
• To prepare monthly delivery schedule and follow- up with suppliers for timely adherence of purchase orders.
• To maintain minimum & maximum stock level of regular critical items.
• To ensure coordination with finance department for payment planning.
• To ensure commercial legal & contractual compliances in all the procurement transaction
• To evaluate the vendor performance on monthly/quarterly basis.
• To ensure the on time release of purchase orders in SAP.
• Purchasing the material in local market as per requirement.
• Collect the material in the transport.
• Negotiation, placing purchase order & administration of the purchase order.
• Preparation & approval of commercial and technical comparison sheet.
• Preparation of various monthly reports through SAP related to procurement & IATF.
• Distribution of job responsibility to team members.
• IATF 16949 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS) & ISO 45001(OHS) standard requirement practical Implementation in the shop floor-maintaining standard formats, training, procedures to all Concerned and effectiveness monitoring-monthly).
• To develop successor through 2nd line employees

Preferred Candidate ;-

• Candidate from the Automobile or auto component industry
• SAP working experience is must.
