Job Title : Manager Software Engineering, ServiceNow Platform
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, ServiceNow Platform is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and implementation of the ServiceNow platform within the organization. This leadership role requires a understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) and the ability to effectively manage a team of ServiceNow developers and Business Analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for the ServiceNow platform, aligning it with the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers, ensuring continuous growth and development.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ITSM practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the platform meets their requirements.
  • Ensure that the ServiceNow platform adheres to organizational policies, compliance standards, and security protocols.
  • Monitor and report on the performance and usage of the ServiceNow platform, making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Manage relationships with ServiceNow partners and vendors to optimize support and resources.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the ServiceNow team and projects.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 and maximum10 years of experience in ITSM&ITOM, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role overseeing ServiceNow platform.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, or equivalent certifications.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, architecture, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive process improvements.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
