Job Description

Position Overview The Manager - Academic Content will be responsible for overseeing the creation, review, and management of academic content developed by faculty members for Parul Universitys online programs. This role is crucial in ensuring that all educational materials uploaded to the Learning Management System (LMS) are of the highest quality, accurate, and pedagogically sound. Key Responsibilities 1. Reviewing and Enhancing Academic Content • Conduct thorough reviews of academic content created by faculty to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality. • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the content to align with educational standards and student needs. 2. Content Management • Organize and manage the process of uploading academic content to the LMS. • Ensure all materials, including notes, presentations, and other resources, are correctly formatted and accessible to students. 3. Content Strategy Development • Develop and implement strategies to ensure continuous improvement in the quality and effectiveness of academic content. • Collaborate with faculty members to align content with curricular goals and learning outcomes. 4. Quality Control and Consistency • Maintain high standards of academic integrity and quality across all materials. • Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and instructional approach in all content uploaded to the LMS. 5. Coordination with Faculty • Work closely with faculty members to guide them in the development of engaging and effective educational materials. • Facilitate training and support for faculty on best practices for creating digital content. 6. Content Scheduling and Planning • Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure timely delivery and availability of academic materials. • Coordinate with faculty to ensure deadlines for content submission are met. 7. Performance Monitoring and Feedback • Monitor the usage and effectiveness of academic content through analytics and student feedback. • Provide regular reports on content performance and recommend areas for improvement. 8. Continuous Improvement • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in online education and academic content development. • Implement innovative approaches to enhance the learning experience for students. Qualifications - Masters degree in education or a related field. - Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in academic content management or a similar role. - Strong understanding of online education trends and best practices. - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. - Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital content creation tools. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Strong analytical skills to assess content performance and make data-driven decisions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
