A.
- Drive sourcing strategy
- Driving cost reduction thru various initiatives.
- De-risking (alternate source developments / new technology supplier inclusion)
- Commercial settlements & Rate contracts (synergy suppliers and high value parts)
- Vendor Assessment (addition of new vendors)
- Drive digital initiatives / other new initiatives (Analytics / SRM / Me11 & Me12 dev. / MRO Outsourcing / Out-Sourcing etc.)
- Commonization of vendor base across Engg companies to increase leverage and derive synergy.
- Vendor evaluation

Strategic and Planning
- Boughtouts Budget for Engineering & ACGi
- Drive long term strategy
- Business continuity
- Business Rules (review on compliance and drive)
- Inventory Management (Monitor/review & get the actions to reduce free and non-moving)
Functional
(for fulfilling the responsibilities and meeting customer expectations).
- Spend Analysis to understand the major spend part families and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Identify vendor strengths/weaknesses of existing supplier viz a viz of current business requirement. Plan for addressing the same.
- Scanning of market for identifying suppliers meeting QCD.
- Manage the
- Monitoring new and existing products of various companies which can be adopted by our companies.
- Process orientation and strong in identifying gaps and establishing process in order to bridge the same.
- Awareness of products, functions, manufacturers and their application to our machines. (B/O parts like HMI, PLC, servo, switch gears, motors, geared motors, IPC, Drives, Pneumatics, sensors, bearings etc)
- Knowledge of SAP MM Module is required to drive various important projects.

- Identify Cost Savings avenues by the various ways like, Renegotiation, Value Engineering, etc.
- Drive De-risking (alternate source developments / new technology supplier inclusion)
- Commercial settlements & Rate contracts (synergy suppliers and high value parts)
- Vendor Assessment (addition of new vendors)
- Drive new digital initiatives example Sourcing Analytics / SRM / Online Auctions / Online Price revision system, etc.
- Commonization of vendor base across Engg companies to increase leverage and derive synergy.
- De-Risking Vendor base by alternate development.
- Commonization of vendor base across Engg companies to increase leverage and derive synergy.
- Commercial settlements as per determined authority matrix.
- Identify vendor strengths/weaknesses of existing supplier viz a viz of current business requirement. Plan for addressing the same.
- Monitoring new and existing products of various companies which can be adopted by our companies.
- Lead CFT for various projects

Level of Education
- BE in Mechanical / Production
Experience
- Minimum 10yrs experience in procurement / Sourcing function and
- Atleast 5yrs in a similar responsibility /position in strategic sourcing
- Must have worked in Machine manufacturing company
- 3yrs Experience of Automation/Electronics products.
- 8yrs in similar position in strategic sourcing
- Exposure/ experience and contacts with suppliers in the similar industry
Basic requirement
- Experience of working in Machine manufacturing company
- Awareness of products, functions, manufacturers and their application to machines.
- Candidates must have handled Boughtout parts like HMI, IPC, PLC, servos, VFD, Pneumatics, sensors, AHU, Scrubber, De-dusters, ADU, motors, etc)
- Awareness about diff. vendor sources and brands for the above mentioned parts
- Drive De-risking (alternate source developments / new technology supplier inclusion)
- Lead CFT for various projects.
- Knowledge of SAP MM Module
- Experience of planning and driving the strategic initiatives
- Direct buying experience from OEM / Manufacturers like Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider, etc
- Experience of Boughtout Vendor Audit/Evaluation
- Experience of Value Engineering/Cost Reduction projects for Boughtout parts
