Machine Learning Engineer

Overview: We are looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with experience in the development of new machine learning algorithms. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions that drive business innovation and efficiencies. This role requires a strong understanding of ML algorithms, model building, and production deployment processes, along with experience in working with images. Responsibilities: Design and develop machine learning models to solve business problems. Research, design, and implement new machine learning algorithms. Perform data collection, preprocessing, and feature engineering. Develop and integrate AI/ ML algorithms to support automated image analysis, object detection, classification and predictive modeling with geospatial data. Implement and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines. in production environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into GeoAI solutions. Provide technical support and mentorship to the team. Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, Geoinformatics, Data Science, AI, or a related field. 0 to 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role. Proven experience in the development of new machine learning algorithms. Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Experience working with image data and computer vision techniques. Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML deployment. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
