LIFT Implementation Expert

As a member of Oracle Cloud LIFT, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers from concept to successful cloud deployment. Your responsibilities will involve shaping architecture and solution design with best practices and experience, owning the delivery of agreed workload implementations, validating and testing deployed solutions, and conducting security assurance reviews. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment, engaging with customers across various industries and regions. Collaboration with peers, sales, architects, and consulting teams will be essential in making cloud transformation a reality. In this role, your main focus will be on hands-on experience creating landing zones for cloud platforms like OCI, Azure, GCP, or AWS. You should possess expertise in cloud compute and storage technologies, cloud networking, firewalls, and hardening cloud security postures. Additionally, experience with Windows, Linux, and other operating systems on the cloud, as well as expertise in production VM migration and Disaster recovery, are key skills required. You will also need to have hands-on experience using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and automation pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. Effective communication and presentation skills are crucial, along with the ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and make decisions. A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionally is highly valued. While not mandatory, it would be advantageous to have experience with containerization technologies like Docker, containers, OpenShift, and Kubernetes, as well as a good architectural understanding of technical aspects of a cloud solution including networking, security, resilience, and connectivity. Experience in Multi-cloud solutions and Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) would also be beneficial. Engaging with Technical Sales Teams, prospects, and customers to ensure business needs can be addressed with OCIs capabilities is part of the role. Keeping up to date with new OCI-based solutions or capabilities, understanding functionality and interoperability of solutions across the OCI portfolio, and possessing OCI Certification Foundation / Architect / Professional are considered added advantages.
