Job Description

This role is based in Australia at UNSW Canberra's ADFA Campus. As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at UNSW Canberra, you will be employed full-time for 35 hours per week on a continuing basis. The remuneration for Level B starts from $127,947 and Level C starts from $155,403, with an additional 17% superannuation contribution. The School of Science at UNSW Canberra is looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Mathematics to join their team. The School offers a comprehensive program of Mathematics courses, from first to third year, as part of a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Mathematics or a four-year Honours degree. The School has strong research profiles in Bushfire Research and Number Theory, leading cutting-edge investigations into bushfire behavior and exploring properties of integers through advanced algebraic and analytic techniques. As the ideal candidate, you will have a PhD in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience, demonstrating a commitment to staying updated with discipline knowledge. You will have experience in teaching and learning design at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, along with proficiency in educational technologies and online delivery methods. Your passion for educational excellence, ability to support students from diverse backgrounds, and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives will be key strengths for this role.
