The Lead Zonal IT Operations is responsible for managing the day-to-day IT infrastructure and support services across multiple sites within an assigned zone. This role ensures consistent service delivery, system availability, and operational efficiency in alignment with enterprise IT policies and business objectives. The role will lead regional IT teams, coordinate with central IT functions, and serve as a key point of contact for local business leadership. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end IT operations within the assigned zone, including infrastructure, service desk, on-site support, and compliance. Lead and mentor zonal/Regional/Area IT teams, ensuring effective coverage, training, and performance. Ensure system availability, incident resolution, and timely support across all zonal business units or branches. Oversee implementation of IT infrastructure projects and upgrades across regional locations. Monitor adherence to IT policies, information security guidelines, and SLA targets at each site. Act as the primary interface between zonal business head and central/corporate IT teams for all technology-related matters. Collaborate with the IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, and service management teams to support business operations. Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure compliance with corporate standards and risk controls. Maintain accurate asset records, service reports, and documentation for all zonal IT systems and activities. Track and report key metrics (uptime, resolution time, support ticket volumes) and recommend improvements.
