Job Description

As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing the organization's overall network architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. Your role will involve defining and enforcing network standards, policies, and procedures to maintain a robust network infrastructure. Leading a team of network architects, you will provide mentorship, guidance, and foster a collaborative environment to drive innovation and excellence. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as security, operations, and applications, is crucial to align network strategies with business goals effectively. Staying updated on emerging network technologies, you will evaluate their relevance to the organization's needs and drive the adoption of cutting-edge solutions to enhance network performance, security, and efficiency. This includes technologies like Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco LAN & Wireless, Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firewalls, Zscaler, Palo Alto Firewall, Juniper Junos switches & MIST access points. In terms of security and compliance, you will develop and implement network security strategies to ensure adherence to industry regulations and organizational policies. Regular security assessments and audits will be conducted to maintain a secure network environment. As a senior technical resource, you will troubleshoot complex network issues and provide guidance to support and operations teams. Collaborating with vendors to resolve critical network incidents will be part of your responsibilities. Conducting capacity planning is essential to anticipate future network requirements and ensure optimal performance. You will evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet capacity needs effectively. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes is crucial. Additionally, providing training and knowledge transfer to team members will be necessary to enhance the overall skill set of the team. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. With over 18 years of experience in network architecture and design, industry certifications such as CCIE or equivalent are required. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, along with in-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security best practices, and emerging technologies. Experience with Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco LAN & Wireless, Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firewalls, Zscaler, Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper Junos Switches & MIST Access points, Voice technologies (AudioCodes), Network Visibility (Gigamon, ORDR), and Security Management (Firemon, ORDR) are preferred. Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale, complex enterprise networks, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, are necessary for this role.,
