Job Description

Job Title: Lead - Cloud Infrastructure Department: IT - Infra & Application Roles & Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering: Understand business needs, cloud deployment details, and propose suitable cloud solutions with design analysis, cost estimation, and sign-off from product teams. Cloud Infra Design: Design and review cloud infrastructure, ensure scalable implementation, collaborate on DevOps practices, and lead innovation and PoCs. Product Team Collaboration: Maintain strong client and product team relationships, manage updates, containerization, deployments, and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure. Project Management: Lead multiple projects, develop and track project plans, ensure timely and quality delivery, and follow organizational standards. Infrastructure Management: Ensure uptime and reliability of cloud infrastructure, maintain systems through automation and monitoring, and coordinate with other teams for seamless operations. Process & Knowledge Improvement: Drive process enhancements, maintain best practices, implement knowledge management, and create automation tools for AWS resource provisioning. Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor the cloud team, conduct performance reviews, and maintain team motivation and technical excellence. Vendor Management: Identify, manage, and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring quality service and maintaining productive third-party relationships Candidate Profile: Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven expertise in cloud architecture, implementation, and infrastructure management. Technical Skills: Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure etc. Hands-on experience in designing and deploying scalable cloud infrastructures Skilled in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong grasp of cloud security and compliance best practices Capable of developing automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and management Soft Skills: Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities Proven leadership in mentoring and managing high-performing technical teams Analytical approach to cost optimization and performance improvement Effective communicator with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
