Job Title : Business Development Lead Location : Noida, Uttar Pradesh Department : Strategy / Growth / Sales Enablement Reporting to : Head Business Development / Strategy Qualification : B.E./B.Tech with MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Strategy Experience : 8–12 years in B2B Business Development, preferably in Energy, Engineering, Power Solutions, or EPC sectors Job Purpose To lead business development initiatives through structured outreach, ecosystem partnerships, strategic account engagement, and enablement of Sales through insight-driven programs and tools. This role aims to create and maintain a high-quality business funnel, influence market stakeholders, and drive strategic growth for Jakson Distributed Energy Business. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Business Development Identify and pursue business development opportunities via outreach campaigns, ecosystem engagement, consultant connects, and industry programs. Conduct account-based business development (ABBD) activities for large/strategic enterprise customers. Collaborate closely with the Sales team to qualify BD-generated leads and convert them into actionable pipeline. 2. Ecosystem and Stakeholder Engagement Build and nurture relationships with influencers, consultants, ecosystem enablers, and channel partners. Design and execute structured engagement programs such as knowledge sessions, consultant meets, and co-branded events. Collaborate with ecosystem partners to develop joint GTM (go-to-market) strategies, BD content, and increase brand visibility. 3. BD Enablement & Content Development Create and maintain a repository of BD enablement tools – pitch decks, partner kits, BD templates, and positioning content. Deliver customized BD kits and tools to support specific campaigns or sectoral outreach. Conduct capability-building sessions for BD and Sales teams on tools, positioning, and consultative selling. 4. CRM Management & Data Analytics Ensure timely and accurate logging of all BD activities in the CRM system. Maintain full visibility of the BD pipeline and monitor funnel progression KPIs. Drive CRM best practices, data hygiene, and generate data-backed reports and dashboards. 5. Feedback Integration & Continuous Improvement Establish a structured feedback loop for BD-originated leads across Sales, Product, and Service teams. Track closure of feedback and use insights to optimize BD efforts and outreach. Leverage feedback to refine BD tools, content, and ecosystem strategy. 6. Market & Competitor Intelligence Conduct regular market scans and competitor benchmarking. Map emerging segments, demand trends, and opportunity white spaces. Share structured insights with Product, Sales, and Leadership teams to influence business strategy. Key Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and strategic thinking Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Proficiency in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce/MS Dynamics) Hands-on with market research, lead qualification, and BD enablement High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and business presentations Entrepreneurial attitude with a growth mindset
