Job Description

Business Analyst Job Description – Key Responsibility: You will be responsible for executing & managing assigned client engagement/s at an executive & relationship level within the practice. You can expect to work with external & internal client/s personnel to contribute in project deliverables, documentation, process mapping, narratives reviews and reporting of key activities and deliverables. Skills and attributes for success : Conduct workshops for requirement gathering and converting of business logic to automated processes for insurance clients. Design process flows & wireframes, dashboard visuals and prepare reports of business activity Prepare documentation pertaining to SRS, FSD, BRD, User Manuals and FTM, testing UAT & SIT, including Master Data Management. Work with development team on application architecture design and decision making Perform GAP Analysis as per client requirements and design user interface for smooth navigation and better UX. Conduct Impact Analysis of changes in software, functional testing, and UAT to optimize user requirements Map the discussed requirements & provide best solutions to clients involving evaluation & definition of scope of project & finalization of project requirements; driving the implementation of requirement analysis techniques such as Business Process Automation, Business Process Improvement, and Business Process Re-engineering Conduct validation sessions with the process owners & key stakeholders to ensure completeness & accuracy of deliverables – Obtain sign-off. Manage the delivery of your own and your teams work to ensure we meet required standards and go beyond this to delight our clients Prepare weekly status reports, project reports and provide update to stakeholders about them. Exceptional MS Visio skills – Use EXL proprietary / client customized stencil Experience & Professional Pre-Requisites 1+ years of professional experience in areas of PMO / BA / Documentation / BRD / FRD. Conversant with Agile Methodology / Scrum / Customer Story Sessions Graduate/Post Graduate from a reputed college/university. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to find solutions quickly Flexible to work extended hours & varied shift timings basis business requirements Exceptionally good MS office skills including MS Visio & MS Project applications Specialized industry experience in Insurance segment is highly preferred
