Preferred candidate profile Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated and assembled components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality plans. Develop and implement quality inspection procedures and checklists. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer-specific requirements. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain records of inspection and test results. Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc. Assist in audits (internal and external) and documentation as per ISO 9001 standards. Provide feedback to production and assembly teams to improve product quality. Liaise with customers during inspections and quality-related discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering. 35 years of experience in a fabrication or OEM supply environment, especially with sheet metal products. Knowledge of welding, powder coating, and canopy assembly quality checkpoints. Proficient in the use of standard measuring and inspection tools. Familiarity with ISO 9001, 5S, and quality documentation practices. Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline. Good communication and reporting skills.

Experience: • 1 – 4 years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering (preferably in precision machining or pump manufacturing industry) Qualification: • BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering Knowledge: • MS Excel, ERP, Control Charts, 7 QC Tools • ISO 9001 Quality Management System • CAPA Tools, 5 Why Analysis, Pareto Analysis • Experience with CMM, Profile Projector or Digital Height Gauge is a plus Physical Requirement: • Must be willing to work on shop floor and conduct physical inspections as needed, Should also be open for Vendor Visit as per the requirements.
