Job Summary:

Junior Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the

  installation and commissioning

  of pharmaceutical machines such as tablet presses, capsule fillers, blenders, granulators, and packaging equipment.
• Perform

  routine maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting

  , and repairs at client sites.
• Conduct

  Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)

  and

  Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)

  with customers.
• Provide

  technical support and training

  to machine operators and maintenance personnel at client sites.
• Document all service activities including

  service reports, visit logs, and feedback forms

  .
• Coordinate with internal departments (design, production, and QA) for technical inputs and part replacements.
  
• Ensure all activities comply with

  GMP

  , safety standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain good relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and promote repeat business.
  
• Provide remote support via phone or video when applicable.
  

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree

  in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in service or maintenance of capital machinery (preferably pharma or packaging equipment).
  
• Basic understanding of

  mechanical systems, pneumatics, and electrical panels

  .
• Knowledge of

  PLC/HMI

  systems is an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret

  technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings

  .
• Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in pharma machinery installation and support.
  
• Familiarity with

  GMP compliance

  and cleanroom protocols.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical/mechanical faults.
  
• Ability to travel extensively across India or internationally (as needed).
  

Work Conditions:

• Frequent travel to customer sites (domestic and international).
  
• Field-based role with on-site working hours depending on client requirements.
  
• May involve long hours, weekend, or emergency service calls.
