Junior Design Assistant

You will be joining L'Atelier by Khuushi Wadhavan as a Junior Design Assistant in New Delhi on a full-time basis. If you are passionate about design, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a creative environment, this opportunity is perfect for you. Your main responsibilities will include assisting in the design development for interiors and wallpapers. You will be utilizing software such as AutoCAD and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), creating hand illustrations, and using Procreate/iPad for sketching. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing presentations, mood boards, and working files in Excel/Google Sheets. Coordinating with vendors for sampling, quotations, and production follow-ups, supporting site coordination, and assisting in material selections are also part of your role. It is essential to organize digital assets, reference libraries, and maintain project documentation efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Interior or Surface Design, exhibit a strong aesthetic sense, and have a willingness to learn. You should be self-driven, proactive, highly organized, possess quick problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent communication and follow-up etiquette. The ability to meet deadlines, multitask effectively, and foster a collaborative team spirit is crucial. While past experience in the industry is not mandatory, it is appreciated.
