Junior Art Director

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Art Director to join our advertising team. As a Junior Art Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing visual concepts and creative ideas for advertising, marketing, and promotional materials. You will work under the guidance of an Associate Creative Director - Art, to develop concepts, designs, and layouts that meet the clients requirements and objectives. You should have a strong creative and conceptual mind, a solid understanding of design principles, and the ability to work well in a team. Responsibilities: Work with the Associate Creative Director - Art, and other team members to develop creative concepts and ideas for advertising and marketing materials Develop visual concepts, designs, and layouts that meet clients requirements and objectives across multiple channels Present concepts and designs to clients, taking feedback and making revisions as needed Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other team members to create cohesive and effective campaigns Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in design and advertising Prepare and deliver final artwork files to printers and other vendors Ability to lead and mentor a team of visualizers across 4-6 brands Ability to drive conceptualization on briefs so that the involvement of an Associate Creative Director - Art is minimal Ability to manage team s workload by delegating tasks efficiently and be a supervisory point of contact for the team of visualizers Requirements: A bachelors degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field. A strong portfolio of design work that demonstrates proficiency in design software and creativity. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 3-4 years of relevant experience preferably in a creative advertising agency/set-up Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from an Associate Creative Director - Art Attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience working in an agency environment Experience with digital media, including social media, email marketing, and web design Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite softwares
