This role is crucial for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical infrastructure, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and electrical codes. Key Responsibilities: Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, motors, control panels, lighting, power distribution systems, and various electrical equipment. Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imagers) to assess electrical component health and identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and failures in a timely and efficient manner. Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, fixtures, controls, and other electrical equipment. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and system breakdowns.
