Java Architect

As an experienced and visionary Java Architect, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge platforms. Your role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture and modern software engineering practices. Your primary responsibility will be to define and own the overall architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, and security while promoting technical excellence across cross-functional teams. Your key responsibilities will include leading technical design discussions, collaborating with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to make informed decisions, and ensuring the scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of the systems. You will also define and enforce security architecture, evaluate tools and technologies, provide mentorship to development teams, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Additionally, you will conduct code and design reviews, maintain architectural documentation, and stay updated with industry trends to bring innovative ideas to the product architecture. To excel in this role, you should have over 12 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 4 years in an architectural capacity. Your expertise should include in-depth knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices, as well as experience in architecting scalable, distributed systems. You should be well-versed in event-driven architecture, message brokers like Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, cloud platforms like Azure, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. A solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding practices, threat modeling, security compliance, and familiarity with front-end frameworks like React will be beneficial. Your strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills will be essential in ensuring the success of the projects you lead.
