Job Description

Strong command ofadministration and support of MSSQL and Oracle or IBM DB2 and any of open-sourcedatabases (MognoDB, PostgreSQL or MySQL) is an added advantage

Advanced knowledgeof database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards

Strong knowledge onperformance tuning

Level 2 and Level 3tickets support

PowerShell and Unixshell scripting skills are an advantage

Having experiencewith service management tools (Service Now etc.)

Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills

Impeccable attentionto detail

Analytical mindsetand good problem-solving skills

Highly organized andresponsible

Capable of workingunder pressure

Up to date withtrends and developments in database administration

Requirements

Bachelors degree incomputer science or a related field

5 - 10 years ofexperience in database administration and Production IT Support

Experience withLinux and Windows Server environments

Extensive experiencewith database technologies MSSQL and Oracle or IBM DB2(LUW) and Open-source databases (MongoDB orPostgresql or Mysql) along with certification is a plus

Experience withcloud services and devops tools is a plus
