IT Security Engineer

As an IT Security Engineer at Instem, you will play a crucial role in handling security incidents and alerts, prioritizing and implementing remediation actions. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining security controls for applications and infrastructure, enhancing security monitoring and detection systems, as well as fostering a security-first culture within the company. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and prioritizing security incidents and alerts, maintaining security controls for cloud, network, and devices, and enhancing security monitoring and detection systems. Adherence to the company's Quality Management System is crucial to ensure that all work is handled securely, professionally, and diligently. To excel in this position, you will need a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Security, along with at least 2 years of experience in security roles, including Red or Blue team experience. Hands-on experience with application, system, and network security is essential, as well as familiarity with cloud computing, Windows and Linux administration, and TCP/IP protocols. Strong knowledge of security fundamentals and best practices, excellent communication skills in English, and an understanding of the Quality Management System are also required.
