IT Executive

Responsibilities:

• Server Management:Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software, including operating systems, virtualization platforms, and server applications.
• Software Management:Installing, configuring, and managing software applications, ensuring proper functionality and updates.
• Performance Monitoring:Monitoring server and application performance, identifying and resolving issues, and optimizing resource utilization.
• Security Management:Implementing and maintaining security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls, to protect systems from unauthorized access and threats.
• Troubleshooting:Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing technical support to users, and escalating complex problems to appropriate teams.
• System Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as patching, backups, and disaster recovery planning, to ensure system stability and availability.
• Documentation:Creating and maintaining documentation related to server configurations, software deployments, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaboration:Working with other IT teams, such as network engineers and database administrators, to ensure seamless integration of server and software systems.
• Capacity Planning:Analyzing system usage and planning for future capacity needs to ensure scalability and performance.
• Cloud Management:Managing and configuring cloud-based server environments, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:Strong understanding of server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and server hardware.
• Software Knowledge:Experience with various software applications, including databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), web servers (e.g., Apache, IIS), and other enterprise applications.
• Networking Fundamentals:Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.
• Security Best Practices:Knowledge of security principles and best practices for server and application security.
• Troubleshooting Skills:Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, both hardware and software.
• Communication Skills:Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.
• Cloud Computing Knowledge:Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
