Tech or M Tech Electronics Engineering. Job Description Overall work experience: 4+ years in two or more of the skills listed below. Required: Multi-layer PCB Design: (1-2 years) with full life-cycle exposure (Part selection, Schematic design, Board bring up, Certification and Volume production). Experience with ARM Micro controller designs (Infineon/NXP/STM32, and daughter board integration with RF (WIFI/BLE etc.) chip sets. Experience with commonly used protocols and IC’s. (I2C, GPIO, SPI, UART, MIPI) Experience with various sensors and drivers. (Hall, Proximity, Lidar/TOF, DC/Servo/Stepper/ Motor, LEDs etc.) Experience with PCB Design tools (Eagle/Fusion360, Altium, KiCad, Allegro etc.) SI Simulations and in lab testing, timing and circuit analysis, EMI testing. Experience with Camera and AI chipsets a big plus RoHS Compliance, FCC Certification is a big plus Schematic Entry, Engineering Design Specification (EDS) System and Board level architecture design Experience with associated power circuitry, charger, fuel gauge etc. High voltage AC->DC EV Charging experience is a plus. Roles and Responsibilities Lead design of high-reliability power electronics PCBs for automotive-grade products Own schematic creation, stack-up definition, and material selection for high-current, high-voltage designs Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC, thermal, and mechanical constraints during layout Conduct architecture reviews and design validation with the hardware team Select components based on electrical, thermal, cost, and reliability trade-offs Review and maintain schematic symbols, footprints, and library standards Lead root cause analysis for validation and production-level PCB issues Release complete production documentation (Gerbers, BoM, pick-and-place, assembly drawings) Guide junior engineers and drive best practices in layout and design Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for DFM/DFA compliance Implement cost reduction and continuous improvement based on field feedback Support ICT and FCT processes Skills 3+ years of PCB design experience; proficiency in Altium Designer preferred Strong foundation in electrical engineering and power electronics Expertise in analog, digital, and power layout with good thermal design practices Experience in debugging and testing power electronics systems Familiar with IPC standards (IPC-2221, IPC-2152, IPC-4761) and DFM/DFT guidelines Knowledge of signal/power integrity, impedance control, and EMI/EMC compliance Understanding of mechanical constraints; experience with 3D CAD models (DXF/STEP) Strong documentation and communication skills Leadership abilities to mentor and manage junior team members.

Role & responsibilities SPOC for the Supplier Quality Sustenance for the assigned Suppliers or commodity(Electricals, Electronics, EMS etc). Prevention strategies & CAPA for improving supplier SPR (Straight Pass Ratio) and ensuring defect free supplies to Ather Verify Quality, Systems and Process (Electricals, Electronics, EMS etc) in accordance with IATF 16949, ESD 20.20 & IPC requirements at Supplier end on periodic basis. Conduct periodic product audit, Process audit & Layered process audit for all Supplierparts. Work with the SQA & ME to implement preventive process controls to embed Qualityfrom Development to Launch at supplier end. Collaborating with both Suppliers and Ather for the closure especially supplier internalrejections, Tier 2 bugs and bugs reported at Ather. Ensure FPY, OEE of machines as per set target and early communication to Ather Immediate deployment of containment action with cutoff and traceability along witheffective verification of corrective action as per Supplier Quality Requirement Manual Communication to Ather SQA in case of unapproved changes against set PPAP conditions Monitor and validate early production builds to ensure that the Designs, Tools, Jigs and Fixtures are as per Ather requirements Implementation check as per ESD 20.20, product qualification, compliance verification Work closely with the SQA & Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Management to ensure highest levels of part Quality Work hand in hand with the Ather ME team, as part of the team ensure builds in PCBA & boxbuilds are completed as per the project schedules. Validate testing and process cycle times and yield to meet the TAKT and OEE requirements Execute and monitor the DOEs assigned at foxconn for the box build assembly process mprovements. Follow ups with EMS partner for NPI build readiness Preferred candidate profile Expertise in Supplier Quality Management in the EMS industry. Worked in Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) and sound knowledge of SMT , THT & Soldering process along with Bare board (PCB) Working knowledge in understanding assembly instructions & CTQ requirements for PCBs, PCBAs & Box builds. Sound understanding of Gerber & Schematics Expertise in IPC 610A & IPC711 Acceptance level Expertise in PPAP,PFMEA,FTA,8D,SPC ,MSA Understanding and implementation of ESD requirement as per ESD 20.20:21 Good technical, communication skills & Punctuality.
