WhatJobs is currently seeking a Head of SEO to take charge of this growth engine comprehensively, including technical, structural, international, and commercial aspects, all managed from the Bangalore office. Role Overview The Head of SEO position is a pivotal leadership role with both strategic and operational responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, frontend developers, product managers, designers, and marketers to establish a robust global SEO framework capable of operating at scale. Your main duties will involve recruiting, managing, and mentoring a dedicated SEO team based in Bangalore. You will have full autonomy to shape and execute SEO strategies across the organization. We are seeking an individual who is proactive, confident, and forward-thinking someone who takes initiative and drives outcomes independently. Decision-making based on data, effective communication with stakeholders worldwide, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) are crucial aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will not only address current SEO challenges but also anticipate future trends. Given the evolving landscape where AI influences user interactions with search engines, a deep understanding of how SEO, structured data, and AI discovery models intersect is essential. In addition to managing SEO for WhatJobs, this role also oversees the SEO integrity of all content initiatives, including career advice, job descriptions, news articles, and resume guidance. Ensuring structured, discoverable, and continuously optimized content for both traditional and AI-driven search engines is imperative. From Google to Bing, from ChatGPT to Gemini, you will lead the team responsible for enhancing WhatJobs" visibility across various platforms.
