This role exists to:

• Assist in the timely and high-quality completion of internal audits.
  
• Drive cost reduction and process optimization initiatives.
  
• Ensure comprehensive audit coverage and effective implementation of action plans.
  
• Foster team development and contribute to enhancing audit effectiveness.
  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy

• Support the execution of the internal audit strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  

2. Execution

• Ensure audits are conducted in line with the approved scope and maintain high quality standards.
• Assist in completing audits as per the audit plan, providing assurance to management and the audit committee.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement waste minimization strategies.
• Review pre-audit deliverables and audit reports, ensuring adherence to required standards.
  

3. Governance

• Ensure comprehensive coverage of audit areas and quality of audits conducted.
• Assist in the implementation of audit recommendations, ensuring alignment with internal control standards.
  

4. People

• Contribute to building a culture of continuous learning and development within the audit team.
• Provide guidance and support to audit teams to ensure timely and effective audit execution.
  

5. Technology

• Assist in enhancing IT controls and strengthening internal control systems.
• Leverage technology to improve audit processes, increase efficiency, and ensure thorough coverage.
  

Key Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of audit standards, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
  
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver within deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and audit tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of audit analytics and data-driven auditing techniques is an advantage.
