Interior Draughtsperson / Interior CAD Drafter

You will be joining our design team as an Interior Draughtsperson, where your role will involve creating accurate and detailed architectural drawings and layouts. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with interior designers, architects, and project managers to transform concepts into construction-ready drawings. This position is open to freshers or individuals with up to 1 year of work experience. Your key responsibilities will include preparing detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and interior layouts using AutoCAD or similar software. Additionally, you will assist in space planning, furniture layouts, and material specifications. Coordination with designers, consultants, and contractors for drawing approvals and revisions will also be part of your duties. Ensuring that drawings comply with building codes and local regulations, maintaining drawing files, and incorporating feedback from clients and team members are crucial aspects of the role. You may also be required to attend site visits for measurement and supervision as necessary. To be successful in this role, you should have a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, a strong understanding of drafting standards, interior detailing, joinery, materials, finishes, and construction techniques are essential. The ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings, along with good communication, time management skills, and a keen eye for detail in technical drawings, will be beneficial. Preferred skills for this position include experience with software such as Photoshop, Lumion, V-Ray, or Enscape. Knowledge of BIM, Revit, or rendering tools would be advantageous. Previous exposure to residential, commercial, or hospitality interiors is a plus.
