Job Title: Draftsman Location : Greater Noida Department : Engineering Reporting to : Plant Head Experience Required : 46 years Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using SolidWorks based on design concepts, engineering sketches, and specifications. Create and update mechanical part drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings. Develop and maintain technical documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), exploded views, and part numbering. Ensure all drawings and models comply with relevant industry and company standards. Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to understand requirements and ensure design feasibility. Modify designs based on feedback, design changes, or process improvements. Manage drawing revisions and maintain document control procedures. Assist in prototype development and coordinate with vendors for outsourced components (if applicable). Generate DXF/STEP/IGES files for CNC, laser cutting, or 3D printing applications. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship (or related discipline). Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D Drafting, 3D Modelling, Assembly, Simulation tools). Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, and sheet metal components is an added advantage. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Drafting and Design: o Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and plans based on client and project specifications. o Create both 2D and 3D design representations using software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. 2. Location: Onsite Navrangpura, Ahmedabad Experience: 4 - 8 years in RCC Structural Drafting (AutoCAD) Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite) Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred Shift timings: Monday to Friday - 9 Working hours (Excluding breaks) Role & Responsibilities Prepare accurate 2D structural drawings for RCC members (columns, beams, slabs, footings, etc.) using AutoCAD. Interpret structural designs and construction documents to produce detailed and standardized drawings. Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure the correctness of detailing and modifications. Apply drafting standards consistently across all drawings and maintain drawing templates. Ensure timely delivery of drawings with attention to detail and quality. Maintain version control and records of all drawings and revisions. Support engineers and site teams with technical clarifications when required. Preferred Candidate Profile Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering. 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience specifically in RCC structural drafting . Must be proficient in AutoCAD 2D drafting (not architectural). Solid understanding of rebar detailing and civil/structural drafting standards. Strong ability to read structural drawings and understand construction elements. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
