We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager with extensive experience in the foundry industry, specifically in steel foundries. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance operations of the plant, ensuring optimal performance of all machinery, including arc furnaces, EOT Cranes and heat treatment furnaces . The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for managing the maintenance team, coordinating all activities related to equipment maintenance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Oversight: Lead and manage all maintenance activities across the plant, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Team Management: Supervise and train the maintenance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all machinery, including arc furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, and other production equipment. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs. Inventory Control: Oversee spare parts inventory management, ensuring availability of critical components for timely repairs. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and safety inspections. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with production goals. Qualifications: Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Experience: 12-18 years of experience in maintenance management within a steel foundry environment. Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of arc furnaces, heat treatment processes, and related machinery used in the production of railway items. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges effectively.
