Inbound Tour Sales Specialist

Role Overview

As an Inbound Tour Sales Specialist, you will be the key driver for promoting and selling inbound tour packages to international clients—B2B (travel agents, tour operators) and B2C. You’ll craft compelling itineraries, negotiate with partners, and support seamless delivery through close coordination with operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Market Development

  • Identify and outreach to international travel agents, tour operators, and online partners to grow inbound sales
  • Create tailored proposals and negotiate pricing, commission structures, and contracts .
  • Attend travel trade shows and host/plan Familiarization (FAM) trips to boost partnerships
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral, digital promotions, quotes, and presentations.

2. Itinerary Design & Booking Management

  • Develop customized tour programs including transport, accommodations, and activities
  • Manage end-to-end booking process: confirmations, documentation, payments, and ticketing
  • Liaise with suppliers and travel partners for best rates and preferred services.

3. Client & Account Management

  • Serve as primary point-of-contact for agents, partners, and end clients—handling enquiries, quotes, feedback, and complaints promptly
  • Conduct sales follow-ups and encourage repeat business and upsells Provide training/support to B2B clients for effective selling of your packages

4. Operational Coordination & Quality Assurance

  • Work closely with operations/ground teams to ensure tour quality and guest satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot issues during tours—handling delays, complaints, and finding alternate arrangements .
  • Collect client feedback and use insights to improve offerings.

5. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Research market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging destination opportunities
  • Monitor sales KPIs; prepare periodic reports and maintain a CRM database.
  • Recommend new products, promotional offers, or pricing adjustments.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: At least 2–5 years in inbound travel sales or tour operations; luxury or B2B experience is a plus
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent written and spoken English (knowledge of another language is a bonus)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM, GDS (Amadeus/Sabre), Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving, multitasking, and time-management abilities
