Role & responsibilities Obtain necessary quotations that meet project specification from principals and suppliers. Hands on in purchase and material planning to fulfill sales and project needs. Prepare and issue purchase orders for all equipment. Purchase order management (sourcing & purchasing materials & components) cost reduction and negotiation with vendors. Should have good knowledge of market trends, raw material & commodity pricing etc. Tracking and follow up with vendors, suppliers on the order status to ensure timely delivery. Contact and liaise with vendors and suppliers to resolve short supply, damaged goods and other ad-hoc problems. Shipment coordination with forwarders, and suppliers for delivery schedule & Negotiate for the same. Prepare necessary documents and coordinate with the accounts department to ensure timely payment on the agreed terms. Internal & external stake holder management and update on delivery schedule and outcomes with technical, Production, Finance & Projects teams. Any other work assigned from time to time
