The candidate must be having very good communication and should be competitive to connect with stakeholders across the globe. The candidate should be capable of running the Projects independently. He/she should possess a minimum experience of 5 years in managing and handling a team. Job Responsibilities: Team management and supervision Processing and verification of daily and monthly pricing across multiple asset classes. Ensuring accurate valuations and performing validation process across all capital market products including but not limited to derivatives and OTC securities. Setup of OTC securities, including unlisted derivatives, illiquid stocks and private equity, bank debt and swaps, and their processing into the fund accounting platform will be an added advantage. Processing and verification of daily market prices on listed securities from multiple vendors, including market research on large variances and stale/missing prices. Strong knowledge about Bloomberg, ICE, Markit, Refinitiv, SIX, etc Strong knowledge on overall pricing concepts like price types, vendor hierarchy, price methodology, market value concept, etc. Processing and verification of valuations on OTC securities from data vendors and counterparty statements. Review of corporate actions on portfolio holdings and necessary correction and posting of exceptions. Documentation of trade file mapping requirements for existing and new clients, and working with various internal groups (Analytics, Client Services) and external client if needed, to automate pricing workflows. Working closely with multiple vendors to identify issues, track them and drive their resolution. Knowledge on API for BBG and Reuters is preferred. Maintenance and creation of standard Operating Procedures Providing assistance to supervisors, auditors and fund accountants as and when required. Daily MIS Qualification & Experience required 9--11 years of experience in investment banking Bachelors/Masters degree in a financial domain Operational experience in a financial institution will be a strong advantage Good knowledge of OTC products such as foreign exchange options, swaps, swaptions, Spots, forwards, credit default swaps Should possess Decision making, problem solving and tactical skills. Multitasking is a must. Strong organizational skills and structured management approach, supporting timely delivery of complex meeting material that includes input from across the global valuations team Strong communication skills including the ability to distil complex issues into an easy digest summary for senior management Confident and assertive with the ability to negotiate and influence constructively across teams and geographies Knowledge of the hedge fund administration business and/or industry will be a strong advantage. Knowledge of either Paxus, Advent Geneva , or Broadridge suite of applications related to the Fund Administration business, or both, will be a strong advantage. The Role Market Data Operations focuses on public markets Investment Data. The team collects and validates information on equities, bonds, funds and derivatives. This data is used for our wealth management platform reaching over 1000 firms globally and over 100,000 users. We are currently seeking a Market Data Operations Analyst to join our growing presence in Pune. This role will be dedicated to ensuring Addepar's clients have timely and accurate data to make investment decisions. What You Will Do Daily data quality validations on pricing, fundamental and corporate action data Investigate and Resolve exceptions on a variety of data assets, including reference data, pricing data, corporate actions, fund data and fx data Research data quality issues, identify resolutions and updating systems as needed Explore new datasets and analytics based on new data sources Partner with Product and Engineering to design, test, and implement new processes and tooling features that improve data quality as well as increase operational efficiency. Investigate and troubleshoot market data pipeline processing exceptions Collaborate with third-party vendors to triage and swiftly resolve issues Who You Are Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in the financial investment/advisory industry with deep knowledge of capital markets. Asset Reference Data- Understanding of various type financial instruments- Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Currencies Corporate Action - Monitor, research and interpret different events impacting the asset Understanding of pricing process and familiarity with Pricing data vendors Technical skills preferred - Proficiency with SQL queries highly preferred , Data mining projects or Knowing Databricks application are an added advantage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems in content authoring, diagnostic authoring tools, and guided diagnostic tools, and consult with internal and external SMEs to obtain requirements. Estimate efforts for upcoming projects, draft technical proposals, and assist project managers with project planning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with accuracy. Provide demonstrations of authoring and diagnostic tools to customers, and convert POCs into successful production projects. Analyze existing and potential content to identify opportunities for reuse and optimization, focusing on data repositories and fault tree sequences. Manage workload, achieve results with minimal supervision, and advise project managers on project status and potential issues.
