Make an Impact (Job Summary + Responsibilities) We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Senior Software Engineer / Lead to join our global IT team at Fossil Group. In this role, you’ll drive the design, development, and support of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, including Order-Based Planning (OBP) . You’ll collaborate with stakeholders globally to optimize supply chain processes and deliver high-quality solutions. What you will do in this role: Act as the technical SME for SAP IBP modules , including: Demand Planning Response and Supply Inventory Planning Order-Based Planning (OBP) Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of IBP solutions to support global supply chain initiatives. Manage incident resolution, root cause analysis, and proactive problem prevention for IBP systems. Drive and participate in Order-Based Planning (OBP) implementations, handling scenarios such as: Demand prioritization Pegging strategies Capable-to-Match (CTM) functionality in OBP Integration of OBP with transactional systems for real-time planning Oversee IBP integration with ECC, APO, and CPI-DS, ensuring seamless data flows. Plan and execute IBP upgrades and patching activities. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers and offshore partners. Conduct performance tuning and system optimizations for IBP applications. Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and SOPs. Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and follow IT change management practices. Stay updated on new SAP IBP features, especially innovations related to OBP and other planning areas. Recommend process improvements to enhance system performance and business value. Who You Are (Requirements) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 6–12 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 4+ years focused on SAP IBP . Hands-on expertise in: SAP IBP Demand Planning Response and Supply Order-Based Planning (OBP) functionality, including CTM, pegging, and priority rules IBP configuration and best practices Familiarity with APO planning processes and CIF. Good knowledge of integration technologies like CPI-DS , as well as ECC data structures for MM, PP. Proven experience managing complex IBP incidents and delivering solutions. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working in a global, multicultural environment and managing remote or offshore resources. Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and ITIL processes is a plus.
