As a Production Supervisor in the FE_Energy team at Sulzer in Ambernath, India, your primary responsibility will be to ensure TAKT achievement in all workcentres of the ABN factory as per plan. This will involve proactively studying the manufacturing processes for hydro, assembly, and packaging of the pumps planned at ABN. You will be required to check and ensure the availability of all the necessary toolings for hydro, assembly, and packaging to facilitate seamless production. Conducting GEMBA meetings and coordinating in real-time with cross-functional teams such as PPC, Warehouse, ORE, Maintenance, Purchase, and QC will be essential aspects of your role. You will need a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in rotary equipment, pump assembly, machine shop, hydro, and packaging in manufacturing to succeed in this position. Competency in API pumps/compressors and a good understanding of BOM, Manufacturing drawings, GA drawings, P&IDs, GA, QAP, and data sheets are also required. Additionally, proficiency in manpower handling, union, and contractor management is necessary. A Diploma/BE in Mechanical or Production, along with certifications in 5S/Lean, would be desirable.
