As a Piping Design Engineer at Tecnimont, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of complex piping systems for various industrial projects. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), performing hydraulic and stress analysis, selecting appropriate materials and components, collaborating with other engineering disciplines, participating in site visits and inspections, providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle, and staying updated on industry trends. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and have proven experience in piping design for industrial plants, refineries, or petrochemical facilities. Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar is essential, along with a strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are also required, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
