Scripting languages:Typescript/JavaScript, .NET SQL and Database tools (MS SQL Server Management studio) Functional testing. Agile Methodology experience Desired: Gherkin SOAP & REST web API Continuous Integration and associated tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.) Behavior-driven Development (BDD) Skills (all required): Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills Effectively meet deadlines and troubleshoot issues while handling multiple priorities Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative Ability to get the job done in time. Strong problem solving and analytical skills Outstanding attention to detail Strong team player, willing to learn and share experience with other team members Demonstrates ability to learn quickly within a continually changing, challenging environment. Roles and Responsibilities Work closely with all stakeholders to understand the requirements from a business and system perspective Accurately analyze technical requirements to produce test estimates and approach per project, component or story. Actively contribute in SCRUM ceremonies (Planning, Review, Retrospective, Daily Stand up) Develop and execute test cases based on agile stories and documented business and system requirements. Maintain our legacy test suites including the update of data sets for testing. Develop and expand automated tests based on agile stories and documented business and system requirements. Enhance and maintain the existing test automation suites. Perform regression, sanity, exploratory, load and performance testing to a high quality and within agreed timescales. Document, manage and support the resolution of defects that arise during testing Report defects in the defect management tool (JIRA/DevOps) in a clear manner and communicate any issues that may affect the agreed deadline to the line manager as soon as they are known.
