Position Overview:
HR Generalist
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Employee Experience
- Act as a key point of contact for employees for all HR-related matters, ensuring timely resolution and a supportive HR presence.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to deliver a smooth and consistent experience for new and exiting employees.
- Maintain and regularly update employee data and records in HRIS systems (such as GreytHR), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support payroll coordination by sharing accurate inputs and updates.
- Administer benefits and employee welfare programs and respond to related queries.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, labour laws, and internal practices.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and implement engagement activities including employee feedback surveys, team-building events, wellness initiatives, and culture-building programs.
- Manage employee communication and recognition programs that foster a motivated and connected workforce.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organization.
Performance Management & Development
- Coordinate the performance review cycles and help in goal setting, progress tracking, and feedback collection.
- Support managers in delivering effective and fair performance conversations.
- Assist in identifying training and development needs and contribute to executing L&D initiatives.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HR policies, employee handbooks, and practices are up to date and legally compliant.
- Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards to monitor metrics such as employee engagement, turnover, and attendance.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations or a generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and applicable labour laws.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (preferably GreytHR).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Familiarity with employee engagement and feedback tools is an added advantage.
