The Observability team at Dun & Bradstreet is looking for observability engineers to develop monitors and validate the health of applications. As an observability engineer, you will be responsible for creating synthetic monitors to ensure the health of web sites and web services, setting up Splunk alerts to monitor application data, configuring Splunk Observability detectors for infrastructure metrics, and more. Your primary task will be to fulfill requests from development teams through tickets and collaborate closely with developers to understand their needs and develop monitors accordingly. You will adhere to standards to ensure that alerts are displayed on company dashboards, create ServiceNow incidents, and trigger necessary notification systems.
