You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of software tools, using them for process design, troubleshooting, and what if studies. Your role will also include critical analysis of plant data, generating Heat & Material balances, and supporting equipment installation. Additionally, you will participate in Root cause Analysis, Benchmarking, and perform system engineering. You will be required to develop and use advanced tools for engineering analysis and prepare documents for sending enquiry documents to LBEC. Identifying the need for interactions with institutes/agencies for specialized model development, attending vendor meetings, and updating models periodically will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be expected to manage data in process design, models, and development of multiple projects, ensuring accurate records as per IPR requirements and compliance with HSE procedures/practices. Your role will involve learning aspects of detailed process design, design guidelines/codes/standards, modeling complex processes, and mastering chemical engineering thermodynamics. You will also learn economic evaluation & financial aspects of PIOs/new projects. In addition, you may be involved in drafting/reviewing publications, reading technical articles, and attending technical programs. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university, with a preference for Masters or Ph.D. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience using simulation software. Knowledge of programming is preferred. You should possess a thorough understanding of chemical engineering principles, good analytical thinking, learning & problem-solving skills, and excellent communication, writing & presentation skills. You should also have the ability to learn simulation software quickly, understand process plants, and build/maintain relationships effectively.,

We are looking for HSE Officers to join one of our projects in China (onshore). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Project/Site HSE plans and procedures are properly implemented during operations. You will report any HSE issues to the Field HSE Manager or site manager and continuously liaise with the workforce and supervision on HSE matters. Your tasks will include conducting internal HSE inspections, delivering HSE induction and training, and supervising the implementation of HSE procedures at the operative sites. It will be your responsibility to ensure the effective implementation of Life Saving Rules and promote safe operative techniques and methodologies for safety control. Additionally, you will be required to inspect subcontractors" activities, control compliance of the equipment used on site, and monitor the implementation of the Permit to Work system. You will also prepare and administer HSE Key Performance Indicators and assist in accident investigations to identify trends and propose corrective measures. Your responsibilities include: - Experience working for EPCm, PMC, or large EPC companies is preferred. - Review and understand the scope of works along with BOQ based on the contract provided by the client. - Sound knowledge of basic engineering principles and familiarity with Indian Standard Codes. - Supervise to ensure that contractors execute construction activities according to drawings, specifications, and relevant codes/standards. - Establish level and survey control, check permanent and temporary benchmarks, and layout buildings and structures before foundation works begin. - Study drawings, seek clarification through RFIs for discrepancies, missing details, or mismatches from Projects and Engineering. - Review and approve quality plans, Inspection & Test plans, and work procedures submitted by contractors. Monitor compliance with quality requirements during execution. - Issue quality noncompliance notes to contractors for sub-standard works and ensure corrections are made. - Perform tests through contractors, witness and record results, and maintain documentation. - Monitor that QC check sheets are prepared and maintained for executed works. - Authorize concrete pours after inspection, inspect concrete structures post-concrete for correctness. - Check and approve bar bending schedules submitted by the contractor for RCC works. - Coordinate with contractors for handing over structures/equipment foundations to other discipline contractors. - Coordinate with other discipline engineers for the release of fronts to contractors. - Prepare and issue punch lists upon completion of each area and follow up with contractors for closure. - Scrutinize and certify contractors" RA bills and final bills when required. - Follow up with Projects/Engineering team to release any Holds in drawings to avoid schedule delays. - Prepare and maintain joint measurement records for approved variations/changes. - Implement HSE procedures effectively. - Monitor work progress and ensure the adequacy of required labor resources, machinery, and materials to complete works as per schedule. - Perform any other works required for the project as directed by the Construction Manager to complete civil works. - Have effective communication skills to convey discrepancies, problems faced, or expectations at the site to the respective lead and client as necessary. - Specific experience in supervising finishes of FMCG/Industrial projects. - Good written and verbal communication skills.
