As an HR Operations professional, you will collaborate with the leadership team to design, review, and implement HR policies and procedures tailored for Emgage and our clients. Your responsibilities will include ensuring alignment with legal requirements, industry standards, and business objectives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on HR policy development, implementation, and compliance while addressing their specific needs and challenges. Staying abreast of local, state, and federal regulations related to HR practices and employment laws will be crucial. You will need to ensure that policies and procedures are updated accordingly to mitigate compliance risks. Providing guidance and support to both internal teams and clients on various employee relations matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management will be part of your role. Developing and delivering training programs for clients and internal staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance HR capabilities and ensure consistent adherence to standards is essential. Collaboration with the technology team to integrate HR policies seamlessly into our HRMS platform is also required, providing clients with user-friendly solutions for policy administration and compliance tracking. You will be expected to proactively identify opportunities to enhance HR policies, processes, and systems to drive operational efficiency, improve employee experiences, and support business growth. Maintaining accurate records of HR policies, procedures, and related documentation, and generating reports as needed to monitor compliance metrics and identify areas for improvement will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR policy development and implementation, preferably in a consulting or advisory role, is required. You should have a strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills are necessary, along with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and internal stakeholders. A proven track record of designing and implementing HR policies that support organizational goals, foster employee engagement, and mitigate risks is essential. Proficiency in HRMS platforms and technology-driven solutions for HR policy administration and compliance tracking will be beneficial. Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR are considered a plus for this role.
