Role & responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities of Business Development Engineer-Cement Process and QC for our quality control machines related to Cement process and QC. We need experienced professional from Cement Domain, particularly who has worked in Quality Control/Projects/Instrumentation/Process function willing to take up marketing role. Key Result Areas: Responsible for sustaining market leadership in Quality Control Machine for Cement plants. Setting Revenue Targets for the cement vertical and generating Sales Revenue New Customer Acquisition. Customer Relationship Management and Account Management Responsibilities: Overall responsible for achieving the sales targets in the cements vertical. Prepare Overall marketing plan at vertical level. Plan for individual potential customers. Carry out market research to identify new customers and new customer acquisition. Identification of key decision makers in cement plants. Proactively capturing the automation requirements or plans for the new plant. Understanding client needs and determining effective solutions in consultation with design team and automation team, Build market intelligence in terms of the developments or expansions in current customers. New automation projects being taken up, new plants coming being set up, competitor activities. Gather information about the developments in the market and provide the inputs to top management for their decision making. Visit related exhibitions and establish contacts with potential customers. Plan for promotional activities such as participation in exhibitions, advertisement in industry related magazines, subscriptions and other social media sources. Generating inquiries from various sources such as cold calling, inquiries received at office or through website and other sources Coordinating for plant visits with customers for deeper understanding the customer requirements and demonstrate organizations capabilities Preparation and Submission of Quotations in consultation with Design and Top Management, Price negotiations, Conversion of inquiries to order carry out order management. Follow through with customers to get customer PO and forward the same to Plant. Analyse missed or lost orders and initiate appropriate actions Track progress of the deliveries and obtain customer feedback to assess their satisfaction levels. Ensure compliance with laid down systems and procedures including maintaining records. Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to top management Payment collection from customers Track customer complaints and ensure effective closure Preferred candidate profile B Tech/ BE Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Minerals or MSc Sciences Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry with experience in cement process/quality control
