HOD Computer Science

Position: Professor Computer Science and Information ScienceReporting To: Administrator / Dean Academics

Key Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and InformationScience.Guide B.E./M.Tech/Ph.D. research scholars and supervise student projects.Develop curriculum, course materials, and assessment methods aligned with industrystandards and accreditation norms (AICTE/NAAC/NBA).Conduct original research, publish in reputed journals (SCI/Scopus), and present atconferences.Secure research funding from government/industry bodies and lead funded projects.Collaborate with industry partners for internships, placements, and joint researchinitiatives.Mentor junior faculty and actively contribute to departmental development.Participate in academic administration, examination duties, and universitycommittees.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.First-class (or equivalent) in M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech.Experience of 15 years preferable Minimum 8 years of post PGteaching/research/industry experience, with at least 5 years at the level of AssociateProfessor or equivalent.
