Hiring - QA Automation (ETL Testing) - Gurgaon

Role : QA Automation Engineer (ETL Testing)

Experience: 5+ years

Location : Gurgaon (Work from Office - Every Wednesday)

Shift : 2 pm to 11 pm

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing manual and automation test plans as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner. Candidate should have hands on experience for ETL testing using complex SQL scripting as well as working knowledge of Automation framework and tools, processes and techniques used preferably Selenium, Rest Assured or BDD using Gherkin with Cucumber (Good to have knowledge on PyTest framework as well).

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and customer to understand requirements and identify testing needs.
• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Drafting end-to-end test cases, test scripts.
• Use SQL queries for effective ETL testing (data comparison in test scenarios).
• Responsible for improving automation for all project deliverables and for following defined processes and tools and alignment with overall QE strategy and framework.
• Working knowledge of Automation framework and tools, processes and techniques used preferably
• Selenium, Rest Assured or BDD using Gherkin with Cucumber (Good to have knowledge on PyTest framework as well).
• Automate assigned areas/features using the existing Framework and provide the test estimations, build automation scripts using Python & Java.
• Maintain test automation solutions by continuous adaption of test suites.
• Preferably experience in continuous integration and automated deployment (CI/CD pipelines) as well as in the definition, creation and execution of software tests.
• Skilled in any one or more language preferably Java/Python.
• Ability to think out of the box and implement latest solutions to problems.

Person specification:

• Minimum 5+ years of QA experience in ETL/Cloud/Automation testing.
• At least 5 years of hands-on Test Automation expertise using Python/Selenium /Rest Assured
• Tools/Framework for applications based on ETL/Cloud/API tech stacks.
• Working experience in SQL & Python.
• Experience in Agile project environments.
