Roles & Responsibilities: Sizing of the Static Equipment Preparation of Design Basis Mechanical Design Calculation for Static Equipment using PV Elite and Tank Software and capable to cross check with manual calculations. Knowledge of Glass Lined Equipment and Non-Metallic Equipment Preparation of RFQ Document Review of Engineering Documents and Drawings and Ensuring Quality in Deliverables Review the alignment with other disciplines 3D / 2D deliverables. Technical Bid Analysis including discussion with vendors and Technical Recommendations Must be familiar with ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 and 2, TEMA, API 650 and 620, SMPV, IBR and other Indian and International Codes and Standards Review and approval of vendor’s drawing and Documents. Inter-discipline co-ordination Resolution of issues faced during execution. Planning and scheduling Meeting with Client Capable for cost estimation for fabricated equipment along with required accessories. Candidate Specification: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech) Sound knowledge in API, ASME, TEMA and other National and International codes for Tanks, Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchangers Hands on experience in PV Elite, Tank Software, AutoCAD & MS office is essential. Interpersonal skill / Teamwork Sound Communication and Leadership skill Experience in 3D model in platforms like Revit 3D, AutoCADPlant3D & Experience in Model review in Navisworks will be an added advantage. The Mechanical Commissioning Manager is responsible for managing and executing the commissioning of mechanical systems on oil and gas projects (upstream, midstream, or downstream). This includes overseeing the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities to ensure systems are safe, functional, and meet design and performance specifications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement mechanical commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in alignment with the overall commissioning strategy. Supervise and coordinate all mechanical commissioning activities including pressure testing, equipment alignment, flushing, leak testing, and performance verification. Lead a team of commissioning engineers and technicians across mechanical systems (piping, rotating equipment, static equipment, HVAC, etc.). Review project documentation including P&IDs, mechanical datasheets, method statements, and commissioning test packs. Ensure all commissioning works are carried out in compliance with HSE standards, project specifications, and industry regulations (API, ASME, ISO). Coordinate closely with construction, QA/QC, operations, and vendors to align commissioning efforts. Manage interfaces with electrical and instrumentation teams for integrated commissioning. Track progress and generate daily, weekly, and final commissioning reports. Support client walkdowns, punch list clearance, and system handover. Participate in performance testing and support plant start-up. Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Professional certifications or training in commissioning processes preferred. Experience: 10+ years of mechanical commissioning experience, with at least 5 in the oil and gas sector. Strong knowledge of process and utility systems (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers). Experience in large-scale EPC or EPCM projects is preferred. Familiarity with commissioning management tools such as ICAPS, WinPCS, or equivalent. Skills: Leadership and team management Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Understanding of project scheduling and documentation Additional Information: Position may involve rotation to remote project sites. Must be capable of working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Will require coordination with international stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
