Position: Head Sales &Marketing -Domestic

Job Summary:

Marketing manager role supports driving demand and engagement with existing and new customers for auto components with TIER1 and OEMs. Effectively drive customer value and business impact through your work as an automotive field marketing manager. Primary functions include ensuring the development and coordination with internal team to meet Organizations short term and long-term sales goals, providing inputs from market intelligence to maximize marketing activities, and working with sales to convert demand created by NPD programs.

Requirements for the role include a strong affinity for customers and sales, experience in high-tech solution, product, or field marketing role, ability to engage and lead cross-functional teams, and automotive industry experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Working with technical team to develop and execute marketing that delivers engaged customers to sales.
  • Supporting the execution of marketing tactics including leadership, industry networking and other activities that need vertical customer insight and leadership.
  • Leading regional and contributing to global sales enablement content and training programs.
  • Staying ahead of local market and competitive trends to inform organizations business strategy.
  • Create and use reports to analyse data, identify insights, craft recommendations that inform stronger strategy and execution.
  • Solving problems and piloting innovative approaches to help create customer demand at scale.
  • Management of effective QMS across functional area.
  • Continuous improvement in daily work management across functional area including FG Stores.
  • Responsible to maintain and boost the sales of a geographical region.
  • Establish customers Network, managing Issues and addressing customers grievances.
  • Monitor & plan inventory of existing customers.
  • Maintaining key customer base, implementing innovative promotional campaigns, monitoring market trends, and exploring growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations, including brand building, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Leading, training and motivating a team of highly competent sales / marketing professionals also form part of the key responsibilities.

Key Deliverables

  • Marketing influenced NPD revenue and pipeline for sales growth.
  • New and engaged existing customers for growth areas in existing and new product portfolios.
  • Market awareness and preference in the automotive industry
  • Cross-functional leadership and collaboration to achieve business goals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English.
  • Ability to achieve outcomes through independent execution and through collaborative teamwork.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create and present customer-facing marketing material that compels action.
  • Demonstratable leadership experience of cross-functional teams to achieve project outcomes.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Demonstrating inclusive behaviour in building relationships and understanding the value of Diversity
  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time, possibly including some international.

Education qualification & work experience:

  • Masters degree (MBA) with Engineering background or demonstratable technical acumen and experience.
  • 20-25 years of technical marketing experience in a field, product, or solutions focus targeting the automotive innovation and technology.
