Job Description

Designation : - Head Operation - Production, Supply Chain Management & Purchase Responsibilities & Job-Related Characteristics: - Operations Management :- Oversee daily operations of all the plants/factories • Responsible for overall reporting of: plant production, plant supply chain including logistics & purchase with inventory management, plant HR, maintenance etc departments • Creates manufacturing targets and strategies, including financial requirements. • Monitor plant performance and verify production objectives are fulfilled. • Manage plant resources including sta , equipment, and supplies. • A Team Builder with the ability to lead & motivate the team and adopt Change Practices as Per the Organizations requirements. Quality Control :- Ensure all items adhere to quality standards and requirements. • Implement and monitor quality control processes and Procedure. • Identify and resolve quality concerns. • Collaborates with the Head of Supply Chain to ensure quality assurance criteria are met for all materials and completed products. Safety and Compliance :- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures • Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and industry standards. • Conduct regular safety Quarterly audits and address any safety concerns • Promote a safety-first culture within the plant. Maintenance and Reliability :- Manage plant, equipment, and infrastructure. • Create and maintain maintenance schedules and budgets. • Maintain equipment appropriately to reduce downtime and maximize plant e iciency. • Create an e ective preventative maintenance system. Financial Management :- Identify cost-saving opportunities and e iciency improvements. • Operates Plant within budget, produces regular fiscal reports showing performance against targets and explanation of variances, etc. in association with the Finance Head. • Manage the budget of all the reporting departments, including cost control and financial reporting. Strategic Planning :- Develop and execute strategic plans to improve plant operations and achieve business goals • Collaborate with Top management on long-term planning and business development. • Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements Project Management :- Led and managed plant projects, including improvements, expansions, and new installations & Create project plans outlining scope, timeframes, resources, and budget. • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to achieve project objectives. Track project progress and handle any di iculties or delays. • Collaborate with the Head of Corporate HR & Administration to ensure factory operations align with local, provincial, and state requirements, as well as the Company Code of Business Conduct. • Providing Weekly / Monthly & Yearly MIS Reports as per the requirement & submitting them to the Management. Employee Development: - Highlight the role of the General Manager in fostering employee growth and development. This could involve creating training programs, mentoring sta , and encouraging continuous learning. HR & Administration :- 1. Recommend benchmarks for measuring the overall operating performance of the departments. Assign & delegate duties and responsibilities to the top executive team based on the plan of the organization as approved by the Management. 2. Monitor KPIs for direct reports/subordinates & review periodical achievements and fair performance evaluation is being done. 3. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor/CEO. Knowledge and Skills Requirements: 1. The incumbent must have at least 12 15 years of experience in FMCG factory operations. An Engineering graduate from a Reputable University with an MBA will be an added advantage. 2. A graduate with a strong Technical & Administrative orientation is desirable. Therefore, the ability to grasp and implement technical information, expertise in interpersonal/people management, administration, 3. Communication, basic financial understanding, and negotiation skills are required. 4. IT Skills: Hands on experience on SAP/Navision related ERP with proficiency in advance excel.
