Prepare final bill when cash/TPA/corporate/fund cards come for discharge. In the case of TPA credit patients, if the bill exceeds the approval final bill with discharge summary is send it to the insurance dept for the final approval. If there is any collection to be done from patient it is done (E.g. co-payment, room restriction, non applicable charges etc). Every day morning all the previous day discharged cards are to be cross checked whether they have paid the bill and show discharge in the HIS. In case of cash patient if they have not paid who has given permission should give a letter which should be attached with the card & it is filed in the billing dept. In case of credit bills after receiving the payment it is been settled against the respective credit bills and the same is sent to accounts. Attending to patient/company queries as and when it is required. Give them the information required. Any other jobs to be attended as and when there is an instruction from the Senior Associate/H.O.Ds.

To contribute to building and enhancing HCG Corporate image. Develop and manage the business relationships with targeted customers focusing on the promotion of the hospital and its services especially in institutional and corporate segment. Promote HCG to Doctors, Institutions, Corporate including Insurance companies, Government Medical & Regulatory board, Health Ministry, NGOs within the assigned territory. Responsible for defining and achieving budgeted revenues for various HCG Services and specifically shall be responsible for all diagnostics services like laboratory service, PET-CT Scans, CT Scans etc. Tailor make strategies and activities to suit the assigned services. Work closely with consultants of HCG and team members to arrange value added speaker programs, CMEs, educational workshops, patient interaction. Supplement the field force efforts to conduct medical camps and media interactions for the assigned services. Develop and deliver informative presentations based on individual customer needs to increase footfalls Maintain up-to-date database on sales and marketing activities.

Maintains continuity of patient care through documentation & communication during shift change. Remains responsible for consumables: - for the patients under her nursing care, accounting and indenting of consumables/ medicines & nursing supplies and ensuring the availability of the same. Educates patients / patient relatives on medication and self-care during stay and discharge as necessary for recovery. Ensure regular relevant and appropriate health education is given to all patients/relatives (as appropriate) assigned to her care on a daily basis. Updates on essential knowledge and skill by participating in on-going CNE (continuing nursing education), on the job training and various academic training programs organized. Ensures financial clearance in full before discharge of patient from the ward. Ensures all orders, admission/discharge/death/bills/diet/transfer etc. are up-to-date in HIS. Reports Expiry dates of Drugs and working condition of equipments to appropriate person/incharge to Keep everything in working order. Reports loss or damage of equipments during duty hours to the reporting manager. Knowledgeable about the medication process and ADR. Administers prescribed medications safely and accurately by following rights and follows the hospital policy on safe drug administration. Reports any medication error, ADRs and accurately complete incident report or ADR forms. Adheres to the Incident management policy of the organization. Raises incident reports when required. Has understanding on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) of incidents Knowledgeable on the nursing quality indicators Performs the 5 moments of hand hygiene. Ensures appropriate cleaning and fogging of the patient room after care of infected cases. Notifies the infection control department about the notifiable diseases. Proper segregation and disposable of BMW after the medication administration or any other procedure as per hospital infection control policy Supervise the nursing aides when they are attending the personal hygiene of the patient’s. Responsible for Initial assessment to be completed within 30 mts of admission & reassessment in each shift. Have expertise in handling life threatening conditions. Has knowledge and skill to handle advance medical instruments & machines – ventilator, cardiac monitor, defibrillator, infusion pumps, ECG & echo Possess the ability to take ECG and interpret the same. Identifies abnormal cardiac rhythms Possess knowledge on high risk and emergency medications, inotropes, dosage, action and side effects Be a part of the code blue team to meet medical emergencies within the hospital and be ready to attend to the same as and when codes are initiated and support is required Be with the relatives and provide support in grievance and provide psychological support and help in the bereavement process for the relatives of deceased patients Have the skill to perform advanced procedures including taking sample for ABG, analysis of the same and interpreting and informing the physician on the same Be aware of policies and protocols pertaining to MLC and handle the same appropriately as per organizational policy Warrants that all patient care plans are done and documented according to the patients need and condition & the same is modified as per the condition of patients, to ensure proper continuity of care Checks and documents patient’s Vital signs & pain assessment every 4 hourly & as when required. Ensures all patient information is appropriately documented and handing over is done at the end of each shift & during transfer between unit / departments following ISBAR Inserts peripheral venous catheters as and when required as per safe infusion practice protocol Mention date and time of insertion and arrow indicating the direction of the vein flow. Carry out the protocol for Blood & blood products transfusion On patient’s discharge, see that the discharge procedure is carried out as per the policy. Enter in the activity card immediately after each procedure. Knowledgeable about all codes & how to raise emergency codes.
