HARDWARE TEST ENGINEER

You have an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Test Engineer. With a minimum of 3 years of experience, we are looking for a technically sound individual who can collaborate with the design team to develop test plans, verify designs, and qualify manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting Board Bringup, Functional testing, and system testing of the Boards/Systems, as well as preparing comprehensive test reports. Additionally, you will be involved in designing and implementing Test jigs and test setups required for Board/system/manufacturing testing. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in System Integration testing with the support of the Software, Mechanical, and Hardware teams. You will also be responsible for Environmental and certification testing, as well as debugging and repairing RMA boards. Furthermore, your duties will involve the installation and maintenance of systems/boards at client locations and supporting the company's certification activities like ISO-9001, ISO 26262, etc. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electronic or electrical engineering, or a related discipline. You should have proficiency in using various test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and signal generators. Experience in developing test plans at the HW or System level based on Requirements specification is essential. Strong knowledge of hardware components, communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet), compliance standards, and quality assurance principles is required. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying and diagnosing hardware issues and defects. Effective written and verbal communication skills are also necessary for documenting test plans, reporting test results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including hardware designers and product managers.,
