Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Gynaec Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to provide round-the-clock support in our Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. The DMO will be responsible for initial patient assessment, assisting senior consultants, managing emergencies, and ensuring high-quality patient care for both inpatient and outpatient departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial assessment of gynaecological and obstetric patients in the OPD/IPD/ER.
• Monitor and manage inpatients under the guidance of the consultant.
• Assist in conducting deliveries, minor procedures, and during surgeries.
• Handle emergency cases such as labour pains, bleeding, and other obstetric emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records, case notes, and medical charts.
• Ensure timely communication with the consultant on patient progress and complications.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff.
• Carry out prescribed investigations, follow up on reports, and ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in pre-op/post-op care, discharge summaries, and patient counselling.
• Follow hospital protocols, infection control standards, and medical ethics.

Eligibility Criteria:

• MBBS from a recognized university with valid registration (preferred).
• BAMS with strong clinical experience in OBG if MBBS not available.
• Freshers may apply, but preference will be given to those with prior experience in gynaec departments.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts including night duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
