As a Manager in the Technology Consulting team, your primary responsibility will involve leading various Guidewire implementation and Prototype development projects for clients worldwide. You will serve as a technical leader, overseeing different aspects of Guidewire implementation projects, collaborating with onsite coordinators, planning project deliverables, mentoring the project team, providing regular status updates to Program Managers, and engaging with customer representatives when necessary. In terms of people management, you will be tasked with instilling a culture of quality, overseeing performance management for direct reports, promoting teamwork, offering guidance and training to project resources, and actively participating in organization-wide people initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (BE/BTech) or Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) combined with an MBA - 8-10 years of industry experience - Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter Configuration and Integration - Knowledge and experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines products within the Insurance domain - Expertise in Java, JEE, XML, Web Services, SQL, ANT, Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and Enterprise Messaging Systems - Familiarity with Tomcat, Websphere, or Weblogic - Hands-on experience in enterprise system integration for Insurance applications - Strong understanding of software development best practices - Excellent business communication, leadership, client-facing, and project management skills Desirable additional skills include prior experience in Guidewire implementations/upgrades, Insurance domain knowledge in Property & Casualty, and previous client-facing exposure.
