Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Plant Manager with 5 - 10 years of experience to oversee operations in the quartz industry. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of crushers, conveyor belts, and color sorters. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for effective plant layout and process improvements. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily plant activities, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficient production processes and optimal product quality. Equipment Oversight: Manage and maintain crushers, conveyor belts, and color sorters to ensure continuous and efficient production. Plant Layout & Design: Utilize AutoCAD to design, modify, and optimize plant layouts for improved workflow and efficiency. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control standards to meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe working environment. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Maintenance Coordination: Develop and oversee maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, maintenance activities, and quality metrics to senior management. Key Skills & Qualifications Industry Experience: Strong experience in quartz industry operations, with hands-on knowledge of crushers, conveyor belts, and color sorter machines. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD for plant design and modifications; familiarity with plant management software and tools. Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges effectively. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Management, or a related field.
