Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and technically sound professional for the role of R&D Executive Liquid Ink Development & Plant Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the research, development, and formulation of liquid inks, with a strong foundation in ink production processes, along with the ability to manage plant-level administrative responsibilities. Role & responsibilities R&D and Product Development: - Formulate and develop liquid inks (Solvent-based, Water-based) for Flexographic and Gravure printing. - Innovate and improve ink properties such as adhesion, gloss, drying speed, color strength, and printability. - Conduct trials and pilot tests for new formulations. - Maintain thorough documentation for all formulations, trials, and product performance. Production Coordination: - Work closely with the production team to scale up formulations. - Monitor production batches to ensure consistency and quality. - Troubleshoot production-related technical issues and implement corrective measures. Quality Assurance & Testing: - Conduct lab analysis and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and final products. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Plant Administration : - Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including workforce coordination, material planning, and process efficiency. - Maintain records for raw material usage, production output, inventory, and safety compliance. - Liaise with purchase, dispatch, and logistics departments for smooth operations. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of liquid ink chemistry and formulation techniques. - Hands-on experience in ink manufacturing plants. - Sound understanding of production planning, quality control, and plant documentation. - Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate across departments. - Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems (preferred). - Good communication and leadership skills.

Role & responsibilities Handle pre-press activities including artwork layout , keyline creation , distortion for cylinders , and file adaptations based on printing technology. Prepare and finalize engraving-ready files for rotogravure and flexo cylinders with high accuracy. Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure proper job approval and print feasibility. Conduct pre-production quality checks of artwork to ensure alignment with substrate behavior and print specifications. Manage cylinder vendor coordination and internal proofing process. Execute color correction , image manipulation, and production-ready compositions for packaging jobs. Work on packaging designs including sachets, pouches Oversee job imposition , layout finalization, and preparation for various print processes including offset and screen printing. Maintain digital asset libraries, version control, and pre-press workflow documentation. Preferred Candidate : Highly creative, Detail-oriented and technically sound in all print production workflows Prior experience with engraving companies, packaging manufacturers.

Role & responsibilities 1. Machine Setup and Operation: Set up flexographic printing machines according to job specifications. Install printing plates, inks, and substrates (paper, film, foil, etc.). 2. Production Execution: Operate the machine to produce printed materials as per customer or job order specifications. Monitor print quality (color, registration, clarity) during production and make real-time adjustments. 3. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production run. Ensure printed materials meet quality standards and client specifications. 4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the flexo machine. Role & responsibilities 1. Understanding key printing technologies, including offset lithography, flexography, gravure. 2. Experience with digital printing / inkjet printing applications. 3. Expertise in color separation theory and the color management of customer artwork files. 4. Ability to assess and edit customer artwork files ready for print production. 5. Familiarity with different paper-based and corrugated packaging materials. 6. Examining printed materials and artwork in preparation for printing, providing feedback and resolving printrelated issues. 7. Providing technical guidance to sales teams and customers, offering support for print solutions, and potentially assisting with equipment maintenance. 8. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including designers, vendors, and clients. 9. Managing multiple customer projects, prioritizing responsibilities, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. 10. Working knowledge of design and communication software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator; MS PowerPoint, Excel etc.) 11. Ready to travel when required. 12. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization 6. Proficiency in written and spoken English to a high level, as well as local language of work location are required.

Position: Assistant Manager - Print Support Experience: 5+ Years Location: Chennai (deputation) Job Description Your Tasks What You Can Expect as Assistant Manager - Print Support (f/m/d): Hold a Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Printing & Packaging. Possess over 5 years of experience in providing technical support for inks and working on flexo presses.
